Fear-Free dog grooming in Charlotte
Full grooms, baths, and add-ons in a quiet home studio. Vanessa works with one dog at a time and lets each one set the pace. All breeds are welcome, and she has extra experience with poodles, schnauzers, and doodles.

Grooming prices
Priced by coat and weight. A full groom includes bath, blow-dry, brush-out, haircut, ear cleaning, and nail trim. Styling is an extra charge depending on the design. A touch-up is a lighter refresh between full grooms: bath, brush-out, trim, and nail trim.

Priced by weight and coat. Every bath includes a blow-dry and nail trim, and long or double coats also get a full brush-out.

House visits
Have two or more dogs? Vanessa can groom them at your home. House visits cost 25% more than studio visits, and every dog after the second gets $5 off.

Prices are per dog. Every dog after the second gets $5 off. Example: three medium, long-haired dogs getting full grooms cost $105 + $105 + $100 = $310.

What is Fear-Free dog grooming?
We work at your dog’s pace, with breaks and gentle handling, and we won’t force a groom. Vanessa is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
Do you groom dogs from Fort Mill and Matthews?
Yes. Barkly’s grooms dogs from Charlotte, South End, South Charlotte, Tega Cay, Fort Mill, Ballantyne, Matthews, Belmont, and Gastonia. Fort Mill and Matthews families book the same way as everyone else, online or by phone.
How do I book a grooming appointment?

Do you groom all breeds?
All breeds are welcome. We have extra experience with poodles, schnauzers, doodles, and small breeds, and we pace every visit to the dog.
Do you do house visits?
Yes, for homes with 2 or more dogs. House visits cost 25% more than studio visits, and every dog after the second gets $5 off. Use the house visit request form on this page and we’ll confirm the date.
